I need to purchase a hay elevator and I'm not having any luck finding a used one. Does any body have a preference? Are the Andersons, Newhouse, New Holland, Snowcraft or N.K. Martins worth more the the Loyal or Hayrite?

Our neighbor just picked one up at a farm auction for us used for $200. Couldn't tell you what brand or model it is, but it's a 40 ft elevator in good working condition with a working motor. Do you have any local farm papers out there you could look in?

I use Loyal by Roth...because I've added on to mine over the years, without any problems of fit...i.e. a now complete 56 ft horizontal elevator, that links with my vertical unit...makes putting up several thousand bales a year semi-painless... http://www.loyal-roth.com/Bale_Handling.html
