I have a 18 year old mare she has a wart on her ear I had it removed last year and now it is coming back on her ear, has another one on her neck, several more starting on her flank and bottom of her stomach. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and mabye how to stop it.

I would first confirm they are warts...there are other things that are not a virus.

I have heard of them in the ears and on the muzzle but not on the flank, stomach, and neck. I would have her vet checked, personally.

Last year the when I had that one removed from the ear the vet said they could be sacroids, but he didn't know anything else to do except remove it,

I had a horse that had a spot on her shoulder and asked the vet about it so he took a small piece out and sent it in and found it to be sacroid.  After he found out what it was he said he wished he hadn't cut into it because it could cause it to get worse and spread more.  Luckily for me it just went away on it's own after a year or so.
