NTSP could be a great place.  However, the fact that they do not take reservations for campsites rules it out for me most of the time.  They do take stall reservations at the barn but just 'cause your horse can stay doesn't mean you can.  It's very popular and fills up fast.  Some people will go up earlier in the week, put a piece of "camping equipment" on a site (they still have to pay the nightly fees) and in essence - reserve a site.  The trails are good, mostly sandy, somewhat marked and mapped.

The wrangler campground is a converted rv campground.  W & E with a dump station, pavilion and bathhouse. There are picket lines at your campsite that you can use if you don't have to have a stall.

Also the barn is not really in walking distance either, you need to drive over to it, down the road a bit, but it's nice, and they have a good place for you to park there.  We us to live not far from there, and it does fill up quickly.

During the week it is usually not that crowded.  In fact, last weekend, Labor Day weekend, it was not crowded at all.

The trails are real nice and there are plenty of them.  They do an endurance ride here now.  Real nice bath house.

I have noticed lots of people use it for a stop over point.

We camped there in July during the middle of the week and there were only two other trailers in the camp.  The trails seemed to have suffered alot of damage during the spring floods that we encountered in TN this year. Overall, it is a nice campground and the trails will fill back in with time.
