Can someone please explain this to
Me? I have always paid the tax and got regular trailer license plates. I was recently told that since I don't have LQ that I can get a farm plate? I see about half the trailers are listed as farm and 1/2 are regular trailers. I have an ag number.

You need to confirm with your DMV if you have FARM plates does that limit your travel distances!...INTRAState as well as INTERState

I’m in Tennessee, and here when you have a farm tag on a truck or trailer, you are limited to traveling a maximum of 100 miles from home.
