Thanks for posting the link ...Whew ... That Curt /Ford/ Dodge system is not something I want to fool with. The video demo uses a nice clean ball hitch. Smear some EP grease on that sucker and operate the little lever. Not for me. I'll stay with the B+W. Drop a plastic bag over the B+W and yank it out.

I have a Dodge 2016 and I do the same as hosspuller, I drop a plastic  bag or rubber glover over the greasy ball and remove it and store in my toolbox. The 1 advantage over the B&W is the plastic cap that covers ( Ram ball kit) the hole that the ball comes out of.

Same here... I like to use too much Never-seize/grease/lube to be fooling around with that clip on top of the ball...  And how loose is that ball when it's in the locked down position? See that guy jiggle that thing after he locks it down?  No like, staying with the B&W hitches.

If one wanted a rubber plug in the bed... The B+W ball is meant to be stored upside down in the bed receiver. There is a round finger hole to pull it up. A rubber sink stopper will fit the hole very nicely.
