I own a 2013 Kiefer Genesis 2. I was at a clinic 3 hours from home. When I went out to feed the next morning, I happened to look up and I see my Air Conditioner unit, sideways on the roof! My heart sunk in my chest! Imagine it flying off while I was driving 65-70 mph? I could've killed someone!
Luckily a wonderful guy at the clinic looked at it, said 4 bolts hold it on, 1 severed in 2, 2 were totally bent, 1 was the only one holding it on!
Has anyone had this issue? Is there routine service, that requires these bolts be checked and tightened? I've own campers for 10 years, never ever heard anything about this.
Unfortunately, it is exactly 1 year out of warranty. Not real happy with the folks at Kiefer, their customer service stinks.

There is a torque requirement for the installation to ensure the roof and seal compress properly. I did retighten mine after the first few trips as they did loosen a bit from all the bouncing.
Might have the repairer check what bracing is in the ceiling to insure it's not something that compresses causing it to loosen.
