I have a 1995 sidekick 4 horse trailer 43ft total length. We can not seem to locate the Vin plate. I need to know the weight of the trailer. Does anyone happen to know the location. If I can not locate the vin plate is there another way based on the title to get the info I need.

Generally, the VIN will tell you only how long the trailer is, how many axles it has, and the year of manufacture. You can take it to a truck stop and put it on the scale, or go to a local grain elevator. The weight of the trailer is no where on it.

As Kay said, if you need to know the weight you need to take it to a scale. A trailer's actual weight will not be on the VIN tag, only it's weight rating (maximum legal weight).
