Location: West TN | I would venture to say that he missed hitting the 1 in front of 35,000. I could see it being $135,000. |

Location: Lone Oak, Tx | I agree with robdnorm. I sure do like those reverse loads though. I could use a back tack area that big.

Location: RICHMOND, MO | this is what he responded to me. Hi there, thanks for your email...regarding the price there isn't any catch... the trailer came in my possession due to quite a nasty divorce.i don't have where to keep'it,plus it brings back awful memories so i have to get rid of it asap. Most of the money will be donated to a breast cancer association since recently i lost my mother due to this desease. I did changed the add to 90.000$ since the most of the buyers interested recommend me that the price was to low but i need the sell'it as i'm moving to NY to my sister in a month time. Let me know if you are interested and drop me your best offer. Mark Lewis |

Location: West TN | If I lived close to this guy in Texas, I would be on my way to check this out. If he was willing to sell a 100k trailer for 35k, I would have to take him up on his deal. (Providing that the title was good) However, if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is. |

Location: Clovis, NM | I received the same email but the guy added He is waiting on the first person to put down a deposit & they would get the trailer. He changed the price from $35,000. to $90,000. and says he is giving most of the money to the Breast Cancer Foundation. I noticed he put the dollar sign behind the 90,000 in this email. WHat country is he in??? Here's his email he sent me: Hi there, thanks for your email...regarding the price there isn't any catch... the trailer came in my possession due to quite a nasty divorce.i don't have where to keep'it,plus it brings back awful memories so i have to get rid of it asap. Let me know if you are interested and drop me your best offer.

Location: Louisville, KY | I would say it would have to be a scam; all you have to do is study his grammar and spelling. PLUS, it's quite fishy that he sent the same email back to both who contacted him. It should be interesting to see how this one turns out. |

Location: Texas | I emailed this guy and told him since I was just a few miles away from Stephenville, I would meet him at the trailer and pay him cash when the title was signed and the trailer was hooked up to my truck. I got a long email back saying he wanted to go thru ebay and he was "in the middle of very important business and had very few time". I replyed that I also had very few time, but only dealt in cash since I was a rodeo cowboy and all the money I had was made illegally and I could only deal in cash. Haven't heard back as to a time we can meet. |

Location: Chickasha, OK | I know the real Mark Lewis. I have not spoke with him lately, but I do not think he would be handling the sale of a trailer the way he is describing. From what the responses of the emails have been, I would agree that this is a scam ad. I'm guessing someone stole his identity and trailer information. I know the trailer was advertised on this site previously by the real Mark Lewis. |

Location: Texas | Still haven't heard back. Guess even an internet scammer has too much integrity to do business with a rodeo cowboy. Being the sensitive sort, my feelings are really hurt. By the way, the price is now $35,000 or your best offer, for those that might be interested. Hey Ben, say hello to the Stegall boys for me. |

Location: Zionsville, Indiana | I just spoke with the real Mark Lewis who did own and did sell this Bloomer trailer. THIS IS A SCAM. The ad was lifted from this site. Mark is from this area and recently moved to Texas. If it's too good to be true, it isn't. |

Location: Midwest | I had sort of a similiar experience happen that was pretty funny. I had listed on EBAY an old car that we didn't drive anymore. I put a "Buy It Now" figure on it and hoped to sell it soon as it was just before Christmas and I thought I'd use the money to help w/ Christmas. I checked it after the first day and someone had bought it w/ the Buy It Now option. Then sent me instructions saying that he was sending me quite a bit more money than needed to complete the transaction, I needed to pay his shipper, keep my money and send the balance to him. Of course I refused to do anything but sell the car and would not sign the title until I was holding cash money. I also told him if he wanted to make a living scamming people he would need to take grammar & spelling lessons. He then got pretty angry and told me to bug off - didn't sit well with me since I had done everything right and this SOB is telling me to bug off!? We exchanged several emails where I had alot of fun & he got angrier & angrier. He finally told me he was going to kill me and blocked my emails. I figured that means I won. |

Location: Texas | hey Kay, this was really a scam? Heck, I thought I was going to get me a Bloomer for $35K. Why pull the ad down after it was on here for so long? Let us have some fun and maybe these jerks will get the message. This guy emailed me several times and we were getting it all worked out. I was just killing slack time and he was wasting his. I guarantee his blood pressure was up. |

Location: St Paul, NE | I have the same thing going on, An Rodney Shad form Seattle WA, (Has anyone heard of him or the name) wants to buy a new trailer from us. He said he will send monies to us and the remaining extra funds to the Inspection/Pickup agent.
I know this is a SCAM. I think I'm going to play with this person to see if they will give me some more info. If I get him to send us an check or cashiers check I would hold it for 4 weeks to see if it would clear from the issuing bank or does anyone have any suggestion?
To report any scams or if you have been scamed go to http://www.ic3.gov/ The Internet Crime Complaint Center you may file a complaint there. |

I would not accept anything...4 weeks on a cashier's check is not long enough...Especially if it is one of the new counterfeits that have started showing up on the East Coast...it may take as long as 3 months or more before your bank will deduct the funds from your account, when they determine it is fake... |
