Nice to meet you all. Thank you all for your wisdom and opinions.  I have been lurking for a couple of months and have just bought my first trailer.  An '02 Exiss Event 2H slant BP.  I've used it twice and really like it so far. 

I have one horse and am an active member of my county's Mounted Patrol.

My life has really changed.   Two months ago I was driving a little hatchback and relying on friends for hauling.  First I bought the pickup truck with tow pkg (armed with info I learned here). Now the trailer. Hitching and backing up.  Wow!

I have a binder for insurance coverage, but I am awaiting my insurance bill to see what I will be charged. Hope I won't be shocked.
