Our son in law installed a back up trailer camera on his holiday trailer and it works great. He bought a wired unit from the GMC dealer that is compatible with his 2021 GMC pickup. It integrated seamlessly (pretty much plug and play) and it displays on his screen that is built into his dash.

If you decide to go with an aftermarket device, you might try to find one that will display on your tow vehicle's existing display if it has one.

I got my system from rearviewsafety.com.  Mine is a wired system, 3 cameras (2 in horse compartment, 1 on rear of trailer for backing).  Excellent quality system and the customer service is great.  The camera on back of the trailer is tied into the reverse hotwire so it automatically comes on when I go into reverse.  7 inch color monitor in cab of truck.  I do believe they offer a wireless system now.  Also if they don't have a system you like they have many options and will put together a system that matches your needs.
