Is this like the auto industry with Sep introductions?  Are any big changes expected?

Thanks, Marianne

Very much NOT like the auto industry.  It depends on the manufacturer.  We have some who are now building 2006 models, which won't be ready for a while yet anyhow.  Some of them pick a date, for instance July 1.  A further variation is that the date may apply to the time of order or the time of completion.   Changes don't necessarily follow a pattern.  Most manufacturers are constantly making improvements.  Major changes are more likely to happen in conjunction with price changes, which can be any time, with no notice.  Are you totally confused now?

I was told by an Elkhart conversion company that they start the next years models after the Normal July 4th shutdown vacation, But Kay is right, it's up to the mfg and conversion companies. Nothing like thew auto industry

The conversion companies can put a 2006 interior in a 2001 trailer, but the rig is still a 2001 model.  It's up to the trailer manufacturers.  We have two that are making current orders 2006 models, and three or more that are still churning out 2005 models.

Confused?  A little, but I am beginning to get the fact that this is very much a niche market so to a certain extent the companies can respond fairly quickly to customer demand (or customer's demand of a competitor's product) -- and this is very Unlike the auto industry.
