I currently have an Elite 3HLQ and I love it, but I need to downsize to something smaller. I bought it when I lived in FL. I’ve also had Exiss and I know 4stars, Merhow, Cimarron are all great. But now I’m in MD - I’m seeing Adam, Gore, River Valley, HawK?? Can anyone please tell me about the quality of these brands? Anything to stay away from? I’m looking for a 2H straight load gooseneck. Thank you

River Valley I have never heard of and though I have heard of Gore, never really seen in person.  I looked at the Adams before replacing mine but was not impressed.  They just seemed not up to the quality of a Merhow and definetely not a 4-Star.  My mom has had a Hawk for years and never had one issue with it so a Hawk was what I ended up purchasing.  I love it, its a great trailer.  It does have a steel frame and wooden floors so it not all aluminum but has been a sound and great hauling trailer.
