We just picked up our new to us 2007 Platinum 2 horse trailer with a Outlaw Conversion 16' straight wall, angled mid tack with everything you could think about having on a trailer. Have been 2 hours trying to figure everything out and still finding things I didn't know it had. Now I have found 2 large solar panels on the roof and some sort of converter box in one of the cabinets.

ANY idea who I could contact to get information on what this would be for, how it works, etc? Only thing I really found on super Google was these solar packages run anywhere from a $500. to over 3k depending on what they are used for!

Next thing is I sent Outlaw a message asking for some details ie: manuals or anything to help with figure stuff out. IF some reason they can not or will not help, HOW would I go about getting something to help us out?

The last 2 Sundowner LQ we had i just call Sundowner directly and they sent us complete books on both trailers.

Ok, now I need info on the water pump. Never had a LQ with 2 fresh water tanks and 2 pumps and 2 switches!

Do I faucets work with either pump turned on, question is do I turn both on at the same time or use 1 until that tank is empty then turn the other on?

Sorry for all of the questions, just way more gadgets than the Sundowners LQ's we have had before.??

Seems to me you need to spend a couple of hours with the seller. They should know these things.

The selling dealer had no clue it had solar panels on it until I pointed them out.

it was more than likely a repo unit they bought out of Arizona and was just brought in when I seen it.

I did send a email to Outlaw Conversion to see about getting some details from them.

Outlaw should have all the engineered drawings to send you.  If they don't respond do you know who the original selling dealer was?  They would most likely have a file on the trailer as well.  Barring that if you purchased from a dealer they should have a tech available that can spend a couple hours familiarizing themselves with the trailer and give you a walk through.

Thank you, I have not heard from Outlaw yet, I am going to try and call them tomorrow..... Kinda getting mixed stories from the selling dealer which is getting aggravating. We bought out last LQ from this same place in 2016 and never had any issues but with this one they told me everything was serviced checked out and 100% ready to go. Picked the trailer up Saturday and sent it back on Monday. None of the LP stuff would work at all.
Luckily the bank is waiting on me to confirm delivery before they will fund the trailer. I have refused to confirm until everything is as agreed! Dealer is not happy!

Well I talked to the folks at Outlaw Conversions and they was plenty helpful!

She is sending me the drawings, floor plan and complete spec sheet on this trailer. It was a custom ordered unit for a lady that wanted it setup for extended dry camping. She wanted a ton of extras added to the trailer.

60 gallon fresh water tank w/pump, additional 30 gallon fresh water tank w/pump, 40amp solar panels for charging batteries and setup to run small appliances and the list goes on and on.
I was shocked when she told me the Conversion package along was $60k in 2007!

They even updated the owner information and said to contact them if I had any more questions or need help with it.

I sure feel better about it now!
Now if I can figure out how to post a picture!

How much was your system? I’m curious because I live in Menifee California in a house just under 1300 square feet and got several quotes up to 46k. Crazy money

The main advantage for me is that solar panels provide energy independence. Electricity in the house or at the enterprise will always be when the sun is shining in the sky (if you use additional batteries, then at night).
