Location: Washington | Toyo on my two horse bumper pull and Michelin XPS Rib tires on my 3 horse LQ trailer. The Lakota came with Towmax. I got rid of them in year 3 of ownership and felt like I was traveling on borrowed time with them. |

Location: Pardeeville, WI | my trailers GVWR is 17630.. Granted I do not haul that much, normally I am hauling one horse. about 2 or 3 times a year 2 horses... Tires are so confusing, pretty much all the tire places are telling me to put 14ply trailer tires on it. It has tow max 10 ply now which are 4 yrs old and I have blown 2. I was all set on the tranforce HT but they told me they are not rated high enough load range. ive neve had a trailer tire with over 80 PSI but Ive never had a trailer quite this big either.. Its a very confusing subject and I just want a nice safe tire that will hopefully last for 4 years

Location: Washington | Without more specifics on axles installed, etc. I feel like they are being straight with you. I don't have that heavy a trailer so I'm in a bit different class. Goodyear 14 ply tires are pretty well regarded around here. Tires are gonna set you back a bit for that rig but blowouts will cost more in the end. I'm a fan of US made LT class tires myself. Very few of the ST (Special Trailer) tires are rated to run over 65 mph. Who never goes over 65 mph. Pretty short service life. Hang around and hopefully you'll get some more specific recommendations. |

Location: Lawrence KS | Check out the Hankook 14 ply tire in size 7.5 x 16" - About $210.00 each, put in bolt in style valve stems too. Best tire I have found. |

Location: Lawrence KS | YES - Trailer tires. 7.5 x16" is the size. They are a little overall larger diameter than a st235 85 16, - replace all 4 and it wont matter. |
