I've been told the Brenderup wheel bolts are one-time use. Seems this would be a poor design for a trailer. Further I was told the torque spec was 215 foot pounds.
I am dubious of this information. According to a few on-line metric bolt charts a grade 8.8 14 mm bolt should be 101 ft/#
Can anybody confirm torque # ? or Wheel bolt design ?
PS ...The Solo trailer has 4 bolts per wheel. Perhaps the Baron or other B'up trailers has 5 or 6 bolts.

I know very little about Brenderups - But i can tell you if you torque the wheels to 215/ft lbs ?You will either break studs, pull threads or never be able to get the lug nut off on the side of the road when you have a flat.

Forget that 215# thing, that's something you read about how big of a torque wrench you may need .... Use this chart..... http://countrytrailer.com/uploads/torquespc.pdf

Paul ... Thanks for the link ... The Brenderup used AL-KO axles so I think their specs are the most likely applicable.
I believe the source of the 215 foot/pounds was confused about my request. Brenderup does specify 214 foot/pounds for the axle "NUT" and does say it's a one time use. I was asking for the wheel bolt torque... the bolts that hold the wheel rim & tire to the brake drum.
