Subject: mice in ceiling of Exiss 4 horse living quarters area

I have mice runnung between the ceiling and the roof in the gooseneck area of the cabin. They haven't gotten into the cabin but i can hear them scurrying on the ceiling panels when in bed at night. I don't see how they are getting up there. Any ideas on getting rid of them? Have you had this experiece?

The only long term solution that I know of is a healthy supply of barn cats.

I would remove some of the ceiling fixtures (lights, speakers, etc) and put some mouse poison or glue traps. The benefit of the glue traps is you can remove the bodies to eliminate the stink. As Paul suggests, barn cats to eliminate it happening again.

Make sure drinking water is available outside of the trailer. Many poisons will make mice go to water

I keep a couple of electronic pest control devices plugged in , and have several scented drier sheets spread through out LQ. So far so good.
