Location: Oklahoma | I just purchased a 2006 Silverlite. It has 2 switches that I can't figure out what they go to. The 1st is on the row of interior light switches. There's 3 on top and 2 on bottom. The top left one seems to not be hooked to anything, or at least I can't find it. The second switch is the outside load light switch. It's a 3 way switch, left turns on the load lights, center is off, and right is a mystery. Anyone have ideas? |

Location: Los Angeles, Ca. | pop the switches out and verify that there is a wire attached to the terminal. Or wait until dark, turn everything on and see what doesn't work. Check all your 12v fuses as well. |

| I can't imagine anything that you wouldn't want on at the time as the interior horse compartment lights, that would warrant a "3 way switch" ( technically a single pole, double throw switch- common feed supplying 2 loads). I agree with the PP about pulling the switch to see if there is a third wire connected. If there is, it could be for future fans, perhaps?
Check to see if the interior switch is an over ride for the light above the range of above the sink. I know my sundowner has one that, if the switches aren't turned on at the light itself, you'd never know there's a primary switch. Just a thought.... |

Location: Tenn/Ala. | the 3 way switch- in the "unknown" position, check to see if it allows the load lights to act as reverse lights. Silverlite did this a lot. Factory 7 way plugs will typically have the center pin as reverse lights. But many that were installed after the fact for a GN will not, as GN don't usually have back up lights. |

Location: Los Angeles, Ca. | You could also acquire a "toner" and follow the wires without having to take off any panels. |

Don't feel alone, my house has 3 of those switches. They all had power when I bought the house. |

Location: Vermont | So OP have you determined if the 3rd position is any of the guesses?...especially implementing the load lights as backup lights...:)

Location: Harrisburg, OR | We've had some Silverlite's where one of those switches runs the radio and the other will run the exterior speakers. They also used to wire in a switch that would turn off the outlet to the microwave. |
