I am from a state that requires horse trailers and pretty much any other type of trailer to have a license plate (tag). Both our 3h GN non-lq and our 4h LQ have permanent plates, one time fee and you are done.
?There are states out there that do not require horse trailers to have plates/tags.
?So, if a person from a non-trailer tag state travels to a state that requires trailers to have plates/tags...are they in violation of the law and subject to be ticketed?

No. If you are legel in your home state that your truck is licenced in you are legel to go anywhere in the US. States have what they call resprocity agreements.

Thanks.

If that person is in other states, especially the ones that require tags, he should expect to be stopped by some trooper that thinks he is looking at a revenue generating violation...
