I've replaced the plywood in a steel ramp. The key to the job is to stop the water from getting into the replacement wood. Before you, start the job, figure out how water is getting to the plywood. Otherwise, you'll have to do the job over. Be very careful if you decide on pressure treated plywood. Some types of treatment are very corrosive to aluminum.

Is this perchance a Featherlite Touch of Class trailer? If so, it is a FRP (fiberglass Reinforced Plywood) trailer. As I understand it Featherlite bought large panels that were premade which they built the trailers out of. It is practical to rebuild doors and such, but likely not so much a body panel given the age of the trailer. All of this also applies to Sooner Dynasty trailers.
