We are in the market for a new to us trailer. We are trying to decide what would be the best for our money. We have found a 10 year old Elite. It is 8'wide with a 8' short wall. The Exiss (a newer model) that would be in the right price range would have a 10'short wall but only 6'8" wide. both as far as horse compartment would be compareable. Mostly wondering what opinions on the width or quality is. We have been in some of the narrower trailers and they seem pretty tight----but yet it is couple feet longer. Just wanting some opinions. The Elite has been well taken care of with new tires and batteries.

Well we made the decision to go with the older Elite. It is a 2003 and after alot of searching on here and other sites we decided that was the best way to go. So after a 2 day trip we are proud owners of a new to us trailer. Can't wait until camping season. As those of you who said to go with the 8'wide how right you were the difference it makes. Thanks to all who offered advice.
