My problem was resolved but I thought I would post this info that may help someone else. 

Arrived at campground in 99° heat.  Plugged in and a/c just hummed.  Same sound on fan setting.  Immediately turned it off and suspected low voltage due to packed campground.  Called the office and they sent someone down to check.  Voltage OK.  Called a friend who suggested that since it had been sitting for a couple of months that either the fan motor was seized up or a dirt dobber made a home there.  The campground worker climbed up on top and took a long handled screw driver and TURNED THE BLADE.  That is all it took to put me back in business!! Saved my weekend as I was leaving my dog in the trailer during the day and could not do without a/c for him.

better plan on replacing a fan motor, that's a sure sign you bearings in the fan motor are dry or going bad.
