Location: KY | Ok, my mares have produced 8 colts in a row; I want a filly. Would like to hear all suggestions (no matter how zany or weird) and a source for "magic pixie dust." |

Location: Kansas | Check stats for any prospective stallions and see if any are predominately "filly sires". At best that will increase your odds slightly. I think God still gets to choose on that one. |

Location: northeast Texas | Do what I used to tell people that wanted a particular color. BUY IT !Just kidding:) Some studs seem to throw predominately one sex. Try a different, similar stallion. |

Male sperm, is fast and short lived. Female is slower and longer lived.
Hence, a short stallion and a breeding roll will drastically increase the probability of a filly. And a big, over zealous stallion will produce more colts than fillies.
We spent 40 years in the breeding business, and made a lot of extra money giving folks the sex they requested.
It is not all nature, we have evolved a little bit. Or better stated, we have learned how to use natures differences.

Buy one! Guaranteed!
That's the best idea. Buy one of riding age and started under saddle. You know what your getting and will cost a lot less than breeding for one, and waiting 4 years to find out what you have.
