Location: Tucumcari NM | I laughed till I cried this morning. My neighbor owns a quarter horse gelding whose pasture mate is a male donkey. The horse has a habit of chowsing the donkey all over the pasture simply for amusement. This morning the amusement took another direction. The donkey was trying to urinate, but every time he got stretched out in position to do the job, the horse would nip him on the rear leg just above the hock. The donkey would gather himself up, move off a few feet, and try again. The horse kept this up for eight or ten tries. Each time the donkey would give the horse a dirty look and move off to try again. Finally the donkey had had enough. He kicked the horse with both hind feet several times in rapid succession, reached around and bit the horse's foreleg, and trotted off to relieve himself in peace. I'll bet the horse thinks twice about pulling that stunt again!
