Any favorites out there? My horse has the dreaded abcess and I need a soaking boot. Thought that I would see which ones yall prefer!

I have used the Easycare boot and like them......Make sure you order a size larger than what the size chart says or maybe 2 sizes

Might sound strange but when I needed one, I used an old rubber boot(human variety). I think it was one of the Tingley brands. It fit snug around the leg and stayed on pretty good. Of course, I had to stay there with the horse but worked well in a pinch. Saved going out and buying something special.

A soft rubber feed tub, or if you trust your horse a bucket.

I purchased the largest Davis soaking boot. The only thing that I don't like is that I can't get it tight enough around his leg to keep the boot on. This morning I used a  zip tie to tighten enough where it would stay on while he was eating his hay. Sure beats having to stay right by his side to make sure he keeps his foot in the bucket. I can be doing other things while he is soaking. He doesn't seem to mind at all and doesn't try to move much while he is eating.
