| If you’re chasing the Sky Lanterns Photography Journal Task in Forza Horizon 6, you know it can be tricky. These glowing lanterns only appear under specific seasonal and atmospheric conditions, making them tough to find naturally in the open world. The easiest and most reliable way to capture them is by using a community-created EventLab blueprint designed specifically for this task.
Step-by-Step Completion Guide
1. Access the EventLab Menu
From the main menu, go to the Creative Hub, then select EventLab, followed by Event Blueprints. This is where all community-created events are stored and shared.
2. Search by Share Code
Press the Search button (usually the Back/View button on a controller) and enter the dedicated blueprint code:

This code spawns an event that places the Sky Lanterns right where you need them for your photo.
3. Launch the Event
Choose any vehicle you like and start the event. You don’t need a specific car—just pick one you enjoy driving.
4. Locate and Photograph the Lanterns
Once the event loads, press Up on the D-pad (or P on a keyboard) to enter Photo Mode immediately. Look up or rotate your camera—the Sky Lanterns appear as a massive cluster glowing in the sky. Adjust your focus, capture the shot, and it will count toward your Collection Journal. | |
