| Forza Horizon 6, set to launch on May 19, 2026, brings a fresh spin to multiplayer with its unified hub called Horizon Play. This system lets you progress separately from the single-player campaign, with unique XP, levels, and unlocks that reward your online activity.
New Multiplayer Modes
Spec Racing Championship
This is all about pure driving skill. Everyone gets the exact same car with identical upgrades and tuning. No “meta” advantages—just your ability to handle corners, brakes, and speed perfectly.
Touge Showdown
Inspired by Japan’s mountain passes, this mode is a tense 1v1 experience. Narrow roads and sharp hairpins make every turn a test of reflexes and precision.
Horizon Drift
Show off your drifting skills in this points-based championship. Judges—or the system—score your style, angle, and consistency. It’s not about speed alone; smooth, controlled slides win.
Horizon CoLab
A big step up from EventLab, CoLab allows up to 12 players to design custom events and tracks together in real time. You can place obstacles, ramps, and tight curves anywhere in the open world and test them immediately.
Returning & Enhanced Modes
The Eliminator
FH6’s battle royale returns, now starting all players in the 1984 Honda City. Strategy, map awareness, and quick upgrades matter as the field shrinks.
Hide & Seek
This 1v5 asymmetrical mode was a fan favorite post-launch in FH5. Now, it’s available at launch in FH6, letting you hide, seek, and strategize with friends in large open-world areas.
Stunt Party
Previously Forzathon Live, Stunt Party is a cooperative event series where players team up for high-flying jumps, tricky stunts, and massive score chains.
Horizon Racing
The classic playlists are back, covering road races, dirt rallies, cross-country runs, and street circuits. These remain the core competitive racing experiences.
Seamless Open-World Activities
FH6 makes multiplayer feel natural by integrating activities directly into the shared world:
Drag Meets: Race up to 12 players on open-world strips with synced countdown lights. No menus, no waiting—just hit the line and go.
Time Attack Circuits: Permanent tracks where your lap timer starts instantly when you enter. Beat your friends’ best times or aim for global leaderboard glory.
Car Meets: Social hubs like Daikoku let you inspect other players’ builds, download liveries, or even purchase their cars.
Co-op LINK Skills: Perform actions in sync with nearby players—like tandem drifting—to get boosted skill multipliers. It adds a layer of teamwork to solo-style activities. | |
