Location: Goreville, Illinois | Just wondering if anyone was going this year. seems like everyone I talk to says that they arent really too excited about it. DOnt know if it is because of gas or everyone is busy or just burned out on it. Anyone? oops I put this in the wrong category!!

Location: Goreville, Illinois | Golconda, Illinois this thursday until the first weekend in August. Huge camp ground, trail ride, beautiful scenery, national forest, swimming, cookin out, drinkin beer, seeing old friends/family, horse show, cowboy church, band and dance. A real good time.

Location: Southern Illinois | We pet-sat for some friends who went down, they came back for a day or two and are back down there now.. Their family has gone every year since she was a kid.. I'd like to go but wish they would have it when it wasn't so bleedin hot!! We rode today at Pyramid State Park and I came home with a heat rash (and those trails are completely shady..) |
