Anyone have any ideas on how to remove the old pinstripe design on the exterior of my 96 Elite. They are faded and the trailer is in super condition, these just seem to degrade its appearance. Do you think a design placed over the exisiting stripping would work? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Renee

Just use your blow dryer and start heating an edge. If you get it hot it will peel off as you heat it. Mineral spirits can be used to remove any gummy adhesive if there is any. Be advised though, where the stripe is now will still show. The area under the stripe has not been exposed to any weather conditions, dirt or atmosphere and will still look like it did before the stripe was put on.

I had pin-striping on my truck when I bought it used. I sat it out in the sun for a couple hours on a hot day and started an edge. Went from there. Just peeled off really easy. The truck had been garaged it's whole life so there were no "clean" spots under the pin-striping. You can have it buffed out and waxed after removing the striping. Good luck!
