Location: Holland, Tx | I see some advertised as a LQ that I don't think should be (like they don't even have a shower) and I see some that I think "could" be considered LQ that are advertised as a weekend package. What is the difference, in your opinion? |

Location: Northern Utah | A weekender is a simple or basic LQ. It is not full featured. It will have a bed. It may or may not have cooking equipment and fridge. It may or may not have a bathroom. |

Location: western PA | I consider a LQ trailer, whether it is a fully equipped long wall luxury palace or a 4' short walled weekender, to have a galley with pressurized water system, a refigerator, bed and a functioning bathroom, storage cabinets, a fully functional electrical system and of course an a/c. The shower can be in the bathroom or a cowboy type. I too, have looked at many trailers advertised as having LQs, and found many that had little more than a mattress and a few Lowe's cabinets. I guess many people consider it a weekender if it can be slept in. A "living quarters" means to me, the additional self contained ammenities that allow you to cook, groom and sleep in comfort, while you are living within that space. Gard |

Location: Holland, Tx | I've been considering mine a weekend package simply because it doesn't have excessive amenities and the size is small...I was just curious what everyone else call it... 4' SW - fridge, microwave, shower, toilet, lots of cabinets, pressurized water system, sink, hot water (of course), AC. I guess I always approached the different titles as practical ways to name them....I don't think I could LIVE out of mine longer than a weekend, but some of the bigger LQ's (with basically the same amenities, just in a larger space) I could LIVE in a lot longer. |

Location: Arkansas | In my mind, which is no authority (!) I have envisioned thus: Weekender.... smaller finished interior, AC, pressurized hot/cold water, shower of some kind, maybe a microwave and other 110 outlets. Portapotti or perhaps toilet. LQ... of course larger finished interior, AC, furnace, cook-top, microwave, inside LQ shower, toilet, holding tanks. Cabinets and hanging closets. Most likely a bathroom with a door separate from the living area. |

Location: MS | My weekender has all that in it too...shower, toilet, microwave, sink, pressurized hot and cold water, cabinets and it did have a 'fridge. I took that out because I never used it and made more cabinets in the space.

Location: Coconut Creek, FL | I consider mine a weekender, though I have comfortably stayed in it for an 11 day stretch 6' SW - propane fridge, cooktop, & hot water heater, AC, sink, water pump, water tank, dinnette, cabinets, cowboy shower, microwave, pass through door, portapotty, screen door, awning. Since it doesn't have a "real toilet" and only a cowboy shower, I wouldn't consider it a full LQ, but it is very comfortable for me. |
