Location: Smithville, TX | I have a 1997 Trails West trailer with a weekend package. It has small window unit in the wall between the midtack and the LQ. It also has a about 8 electric outlets. We will probably have a small frig. and a microwave. I am needing to know what wattage generator I would need. Thanks |

Location: Pataskala, Ohio | If you want to run the AC I would not go any smaller than 3500 Watts, you may get by with 2000 but 3500 will run the AC and a few other things. Add up the Watts used by each electical appliance and see what ones you want to run at the same time and buy at least that big of a generator. I think the roof AC on my trailer is 3000 Watts and the microwave is 1200 so they can add up fast. Or just find a 5500 Watt or greater and not worry about it. |

Location: washington | I bought a Honda 3000eUI and it runs the AC in my LQ just fine. It is also really quiet which is a bonus when I camp with about 100 other people who are sometimes also using a generator. Honda's are quite dependable. It was pricey but I got it on a "buy now pay later no interest program" so not too bad. I'll pay about $1800 in January 2010. |

Location: Arkansas | Our Onan quiet generator is 4000... I can use the AC and micro at the same time. I try to not have the blow dryer on with all those things,... good luck! |
