I am looking at a 1996 Jackson 2-axle Omega 2horse bumper pull.  It's in OK shape but definitely has some "miles" on it.  I would rate it overall in good condition.  It has some rust and isn't wrapped in aluminum in front, paint peeling, etc.

Any idea what it's worth?  The owner wants me to give her an offer but I heard through the grapevine that she wants more than $5,000.  I think that's way too much but have no way of comparing prices on used trailers.  I was thinking of offering $2,000.  Any way find out what a used trailer is worth?  Kind of like Kelly Blue book for cars?

The quoted price is out of line, even your offer might be high. Two horse steel bumper pull trailers are a common commodity and decent ones are readily available in the $1000- $2500 range. For $5000 you can purchase a new steel trailer of that size. Check the classified section of HTW for comparable pricing.

Listing #  163920 is a nice trailer for $8,000.......altho I strongly suspect it is a scam ad.

And what about Listing #  164048,  reverse scam ad?
