Location: NJ | Does anyone have any experience towing with an F250 5.4L? The truck is rated GCWR 16,000lbs, 9,400lb fifth-wheel trailer weight, the trailer is a 3H GN, LQ, GVWR? is just under 10K (9,995)

| We pulled our three h with a 3/4 ton dodge diesel. It did ok but then we bought the dually and you can really tell how much more stable it was to pull it. With the dually you could barely tell that it was back there, but with the three quarter you definitely could. Buy as much truck with as much power as you can afford. You won't regret it. |

Location: Vanzant, Missouri | I had a 03 F250 SD CC with the 5.4L I tow a 2h exiss with LQ 7ftsw 12ft lw. It towed the trailer nicely but on climbs in the mountains it would strain..On the flat and small hilly areas it was fine...So I traded it for a 06 F250 SC SB w/ 6.0 No problems now... |

What size are your horses? 1500 lbs each? if so you have 4500 lbs of horse How large are your water tanks? 50 gals? if so you have about 400 lbs of water Et cetera...Et cetera The weights add up quickly... |
