I live in South Africa and am actively involved in Polo-x. I was just wondering if there are any of you on this forum that either play PX or are involved in any manner. I would be interested in finding out what your status of the game is (is it growing etc) and what kind of horses you guys are using.

The sport here in SA is undergoing a growing phase which is very encouraging.

It is a really wonderfull sport and I live, sleep, eat etc. Polocrosse. We use mostly use Thourorbred horses over here, although there are a few families that have bred their own specialist ponies - being Th x Auz Stock horses. They seem to be a bit smaller but a lot more agile - only time will tell if they have the stamina to compete against the Th horses that most of us use.

I would love to chat to anyone involved in PX in the US - most interested in finding out how you guys are doing.
