Location: East London South Africa | I would just like to share something special with you all. I live in South Africa and have recently purchased a new Cherokee 4 H Tomahawk Trailer from Dave McAdoo at Tobruk Trailers TN. I have seldome recieved such good honest service as I have from Dave. I have neither seen nor met the man, but all our dealings have been done with the utmost integrety and honesty. He has really gone the extra mile in assisting me with this purchase.
I have not recieved the trailer yet - it is due to be shipped from Baltimore today, but I have absolutely no doubt that it will arrive here safe and sound.
Dave has taken care of all the US arrangements for shipping the trailer - and let me tell you the shipping community leave much to be desired (our 1st ship that was suposed to load my trailer suddenly became full and could not load it) from all the export docs to the delivery.
Thanks Dave for all your extra help in making this possable. You are a reminder that there are still people out there who conduct their buisnesses with pride...
Well done and thank you.
You need a good deal on a trailer - I will recomend Tobruk Trailers any day...

Location: East London South Africa | Ok nver mind I managed to work it out... Here is a pic of my current rig... it is a 4H straight loader, with hydraulic doors - which makes it very easy to operate on your own... only thing is it is heavy and has no packing space...thus the small trailer behind. Its like my own little road train - you just have to remember never to reverse - believe me it doesnt work, no matter how good you are - I've tried, unsuccesfully. I am sure you will all agree that the cherokee is a much more practical unit and is a lot smarter. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | That's a good looking trailer!! I don't know whether to believe that "Barfly" story or not!!! LOL! Got to believe there's more to it than that!!! I just copied and paste the address..... http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=9568&posts=7 Then I went to the "TOBRUK" site, painted the picture, copied, and pasted it here.... TA-DA!! It's magic!! I want to see a picture of the engine in the F-250, an under the hood shot, if you will!!

Location: East London South Africa | Hey Rentento Thanks for that - but if the pic does not have a web address attached to it what do you do then... The only way I could get a pic here was to attach a file after posting - but then it comes up as an icon that you need to click on 1st.... Oh well - whats the diff. I will take a pic in the morning of the engine - its night time here now (20h10). It is a 6 inline with a tiny turbo - but it does the job. Cheers for now |
