Location: Cowboy Cradle of the Southwest | I have seen one of these trucks sitting on a lot here for quite awhile and have been wondering just what it was. I just seen an ad for one. They look alot like a Dodge. This one was equipped with a 6.7l Cummins 305 hp, and 19000 GVWR. Does anybody know anything about these trucks? Have any of you upfitters built a hauler truck out of one yet? Any idea of the price range in comparison to the big 3? |

Location: north central tx | I personally believe these little two axle trucks might fulfill a class b CDL. All the conversions packages I've seen are way overpriced with the bells and whistles. Just be careful and not let someone wet on the rear tires. You could end up in a bar ditch............... |

The just like the c/c 3500, 4500 and 5500. 6.7L Cummins, factory exhuast brake and if you go with the automatic you get the better assain automatic with a 3 year 180-k mile warranty! Is going to give the blue oval and run for there money and wipe out the F-450 and F-550's! |

Location: Decatur, Texas | Put some miles on the Chrysler tranny that is in all of the non cab n chassie models! Have heard bad news when towing loads after they hit 30 to 40-k! Why do you think Dodge only offers a 3-36 warranty on those transmissions??? Was even told by Dodge service manage not to buy the regular 1-ton that with hauling anything over 4 or 5-k lbs to buy the cab n chassie truck for the better tranny, warranty and heavier gvrw! |

Location: Danielsville Georgia | Here we go again.The 6 speed auto built by Chrysler has massive internals.Its NOT PTO capable.I read several diesel forums almost daily.So does Spooler.I have not heard or read of one signal failure yet on the Dodge built 6 speed.The Aisen trans is in the Cab and Chassis that Dodge has as well as the Sterling.It is PTO capable and known for durabilty.Same type of trans is or was used for years in the Jeep Cherokee and mail delivery vehicles.With the issues Ford had Chrysler appears to be going after ambulance,fire and rescue business etc.

Location: Decatur, Texas | go to google and type in dodge diesel forum and I think it is the one that is called "TDR" total diesel resouces??? It has TON of info on DODGE DIESEL'S ONLY! Then take the time and look at any thing talking about transmission issues.... I looked at trucks and talked to Dodge service managers for 2 months before I bought my 07 Dodge C/C... Also found out that most local city dealers have NO CLUE what trans is in what truck all they know is it is a 6 speed auto. Then I called Dodge direct to find out what was what and was told that the C/C has the better built transmission and was told to find a dealer that sold "fleet type trucks" and talk to thier service department about them. I did that and WOW what a difference! The "fleet or country dealers" really know what the have! |

Location: Claxton, Ga. | Guy on DTR pulls for a living. He has over 120,00 miles on his 08' 68rfe with no issues at all. He was just whining about having to put ball joints in it at that mileage. Good greaf, that some good mileage out of ball joints in my book. As far as the tranny, no problems at all. I haven't heard of one issue at all with either the Asin or the Dodge 68rfe. Not one. The only thing I do hear is how much they like them combined with the exhaust brake. |
