| Just wanted to stop in and acknowledge all of the great help I got here selecting my new trailer (brand and options) and the right hitch for the truck. I finally picked the trailer up at the dealer yesterday and I am thrilled!
It's a 4 Star 3H Slant GN w/ collapsible rear tack and WERM flooring. Height and width 7'6" for our long, tall TBs. I got dropdown windows for head, hip, and rear load door. DR door is on driver's side for convenience and maximum usable space in DR. Corner water tank behind saddle rack, extra hooks and blanket bars. The rear tack collapses with ease, unlike those I tried collapsing on some other brands of trailer. The overall fit and finish are much better quality than other trailers I looked at as well.
I can't say enough good things about the 4 Star dealer who helped me through the entire process. Thanks to her (and to the folks here!) I got all of my questions answered and I'm confident I have all the options I really need/want. It's early days yet, of course, but right now I am one very happy 4 Star customer.
The B&W turnover ball GN hitch is fantastic, too, as were the hitch guys who installed it.
The trailer was a "Big Birthday" present from my husband. He hasn't seen it yet so we're off in a few minutes for a "tour" and photo shoot. :) Tomorrow the horses will be introduced to it. We're mobile - have trailer, will travel! Yay! 12 (Dang, animated smileys don't seem to work for me!) |

Location: western PA | Franca, that is one beautiful trailer! If we could ride in as much style as your horses will, we'd feel like royalty. Enjoy and be safe. Gard

| Oh yes, there is much fun in our future! But first I've got to head out to a very large, very empty parking lot and practice backing up. :-D |

| The husband is definitely a keeper. I so appreciate his support of a passion he doesn't share. He just knows how much it means to me and has encouraged me every step of the way. |

I'm going to Montana De Oro in the fall with some others from another forum board, we finally got reservations, yeah! Maybe another beach ride in store for me then, eh? |
