Saw the vet today and he could not find one thing wrong with this horse, except he has a few spurs on his teeth. They sedated him and floated teeth good and looked all in his ear and found no mites or anything. My favorite vet was out on a farm call but his guy is okay and I had to work and hubby took him in to our vet and he said they looked him over good and could not find one thing. He said if he continues to act like this we will try again.... Not that I wanted something to be wrong but I was afraid of this. My neighbor is an old man that everyone swears is a horse whisper and is great with horses lots of folks around here think he is better than most vets. I am hoing to get him over one day this week. Wyatt is still holding his ears kinda funny..He is sensitive about his hair blowing in his ears. I trimmed them up good a few days ago and I had let his bridle path grow out. I am going to trim it and see if it helps. It is just really bothering me. Only other thing I can think of is a few weeks ago the kids rode for miles on the back roads and he just doesn't want to be road like that again. But he seemed to love it and was not sore after that I checked on him. My sons wants to work the daylights out of him but I asked him to give him a few days and let see.... I guess we are going to have to wait a few more days to see what is up... |
