Location: NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL | Ok...ive gotten this far without any major goofs. Now Im clueless about plumbing. Does anyone have pictures of their plumbing set up and what they used. So far I have the water tank, pump, hot water heater and cowboy shower. I was told Pex was the stuff to use but what size tube? and the "flair it" fittings? Any pictures or advise would be great!!!! |

Location: Home of Wild Turkey Whiskey | I used CPVC for years an it worked fine, I have just recently converted to pex. I use 1/2" pex now and I'm on my second trailer with it, it is easier than CPVC(Because it needs no glue) but the tool is expensive($170). The older trailers I did with CPVC are still going fine. I use the stainless faucet hoses to make all connections from fixed plumbing to components i.e. water heater, faucets, toilet ect............ 1/2" FIP to 1/2" FIP works good that way. |

Location: Northern Utah | 1/2" Pex is fine, But 3/8 will work just fine, the little pump in your trailer can't pump enough to overload 3/8". All faucets that you can buy now days are limited to 2 gallons per minute and 3/8 pex will easilly do that. Home Depot, Lowes etc usually rent the tools. Here is a quick and dirty diagram

Location: Des Moines,N.M. 88418 | Just did some water works in the house and did away with the problem plastic with pex. They have a fitting called shark bit that are really easy to install and also take apart with a cheap tool. The fitting are expensive, but if you mess up or change your mind it really easy to take the fittings off and do it again. |
