Location: western PA | Wiring a trailer LQ is a bit more complex than a simple house circuit. You are dealing with two different voltages, one ac 110v and the other 12v dc. The dc runs off of both sources, whether it is the installed battery or shore power. There are inverters/converters to consider, the appliances you select, and two different types of lighting. While volume wise, the materials would only equal that of a small room, they are varied and relatively complex. Each installation would have different requirements depending on the many variables in its construction. To explain a simple circuit would be difficult. Books on RV electrical would be apropos to a trailer LQ and should be of special interest for a DIYer. BOL Gard |
