The Tennessee Secretary of State has a great web site where you can search information on TN companies, including incorporation dates, officers, business filings, etc... Good luck and happy hunting.

You should be able to find out how long they have had a business license from contacting the state agency that issues business license or their tax exemption certificate.

You may get more out of them by discussing this issue again and offering to go thru a mediator prior to logging a former complaint. If you do you homework, and have:

1) documentation as to you rights as a customer to have a competent installation done on your vehicle if they are promoting themselves as installation facility for hire
2) the guidelines for the proper installation from the awning company
3) the guidelines from the trailer manufacturer on how they recommend an awning install

It looks like they are an LLC formed in October 1997.  If you go to the website I referenced earlier and search the name you can see various things regarding the company.  If you need further info or actual copies of the business filings you can contact the Secretary of State's office.
