Does anyone have a suggestion or quick fix for sliding windows that are anything but sliding?  Out of the 8 sliding windows in my trailer, only 2 slide with ease.  The other 6 are very hard to operate.  I thought perhaps it was the way in which the trailer was sitting, so I dropped down the doors thinking this may release some pressure or tension.  That didn't help.  Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

CRC brand spray silicone, It can be found at most any auto parts store, or your local Wal-mart, (in the automotive section)! Open the windows and spray the tracks, close the window, reopen and spray again. The rubber and felt have a tendacy to stiffen up over time, they just need some good lubing!! Works on hinges and latches too, no greasy mess.

You might want to measure the vertical gap on the windows that work and compare them to the ones that are tight...just to make sure there is not a tolerance problem...

If the crc spray works and the windows are opperating the way you want them to, you can relubricate them with a silicone grease which will last longer and not wash out as fast. The spray will act faster to loosen a stuck window and get into the tight areas a grease could not. But once its loose try switching to a grease. Apply with an acid brush
