Location: Northern, CA | I've been pulling with a hauler and now I'm looking at pulling a gooseneck with a Chevy one ton, shortbed. Worried about possible clearance issues when turning tight corners. Don't want to go to a longbed, as the truck is my daily driver. Whatdayathink? |

Location: Pataskala, Ohio | I am doing it with a Chevy short bed. I don't have a full width trailer at the front, it is a Lakota, it is a trailer for short beds but still has a bed up front. |

Location: Missouri | Oops! Sorry about the previous post/reply. I pull a 2006 Exiss with a 2003 2500 Dodge Quad-Cab Ram with a short bed and have no problem. My mom pulls her Elite trailer with the same type of truck. It can be done, but you need to be careful turning tight or you will pop the back window of your truck. My mom did that once with her truck and trailer. Just be careful and you'll be fine. |

| Have not had any problems with this one. 07 2500HD 4wd, 6ft bed. Some have said you need a round nose GN. That helps from knocking out back glass when backing.  And before somebody starts picking the pic apart. This was just a photo op before the hitch was installed and yes the landing gear is on the ground.

Location: Western WA | I pulled my non-LQ Logan gooseneck with a shortbox F350 and had no problems. Like everybody else has said, just watch the really tight turns. I bought a LQ trailer and traded out the shortbox F350 for a dually. But I'd pull a non-LQ trailer with a shorbox again if it the situation came up. |

Location: Vanzant, Missouri | I have an 06 F250 ext cab sb. I purchased the SB1 extender coupler and now I never worry about having to put it into tight spots or jack knifing it into places. Moves the trailer back about 9inches and doesn't affect the balance and load at all. |

Location: Farmville, VA | We've pulled Sundowners with a tapered nose for the past 15 years with GMC 3/4 ton short bed and now an GMC extened cab 3/4 ton short bed. My husband raises and plays with bird dogs, so a short bead is a necessity. We also have a custom built aluminum dog box (looks like a fancy tool box) that is designed to fit below the trailer nose that will hold 3 large dogs. I wouldn't have it any other way! Good luck! |

Location: Edmond, OK | Me too...I pull with a short bed Ford crew cab 250 deisel. Have never had a problem, but I try really hard not to get myself into any "pickles". Plus I'm an excellent backer-upper which helps. My advice is that: learn how to pull a trailer before you get yourself into a situation where you were wishing you had taken that baby out to the church parking to practice backing up! |

The trailer has a tapered nose - and that's a must with a short bed! I've even had to turn it around on a 2-lane highway with no problems!

Location: Wadena MN | I have a 2007 chevy 2500hd Crew cab w/Short box. I pull a 2007 Shadow LQ Trailer. Have backed it (tight turn spots) just like any GN trailer and have not hit the cab. You can't jack knife it of course but you dont do that with any trailer.. Mary |

Location: Farmville, VA | Both trucks and my Yukon XL came from Davis. They also do all our mechanical work. They may be a little higher, but make up for it in service. First Truck lasted 15 years, were 5 years on the second one and five seven years on the Yukon with nothing (knock on wood) but oil changes, etc. You local? Nice truck, hope its good to ya! |
