we just got our new 2006 silver star and it has an a/c with no heat. but it also sets up pretty high and the trailer can't fit under the storage area. we are thinking of getting the low profile heat/air unit but what do we/can we do with the other unit? it has only been used about an hour and i don't want to just toss it. also anyone use one of those low profile units?

Wait until spring and list it on Ebay. It's valuable and many people use them in non LQ trailers, truck campers and as replacements for damaged units. You should be able to get at least one half to two thirds of its new value.

just wondering what kind of money we are talking about. do the dealers that install the new units ever take them on trade?

Look on ebay, that'll give you a good idea how much it's worth. You should also be able to find the unit you want.
