Need someone's help on this. We have an older sundowner (95 model) that we haven't had long. Seems like most of the campgrounds that we plug into the breakers will trip in the trailer. I guess its in the trailer, maybe its in the campgrounds plug ins. Even this week-end we used the generator and it did the same thing. Ok, someone said something about "ground-fault breakers, or something to that effect, causing it to trip. At one place the owner came out and changed the plug in on the pole and then it worked. What in the world is wrong here, I don't see this happening with other trailers. HELP!!!

If your trailer has the ground and neutral wires tied together in the AC circuit breaker box this will trip a groundfault breaker if you plug into one of these.

I forgot to mention that we turned off all the breakers in the horse trailer, including the main and it still tripped when we plugged in the hookup. I am going to print out this article you posted for my husband to read. thanks
