| This trailer is being shown by appointment only at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. There is a lot of buzz going around the show about it. There isn't much information known about it but it has been described as the Prevost Bus of horse trailers. What is known is that it is 9ft tall, has three slide outs, auto leveling system, completely stainless exterior, very limited production, and lists for almost $400,000. The word around here is that there a numerous industry firsts in this trailer. It's shown by appointment only so if you, yourself, or someone you know is looking for something like this you know where to find it! |

| I managed to take a few pictures of the exterior. Obviously, I couldn't get pictures of the interior because I'm not exactly qualified to make an appointment to see it! |

He said our house is only cleaned after the horsetrailer, after the barn and after the tack room! We could all live in the same thing! And I would promise to keep it clean! LOL! We just couldn't afford to move it or eat! Hope someone qualifies for the tour! Love to see some pictures! |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | It looks like a steel frame with a stainless steel skin. Wonder how much aluminum there is in the flooring and side wall structure. Don't think you would want to back under that with a F-550 or a Topkick 4500/5500!!! That trailer deserves a class 8 "Pete", "KW", "IH" or something in that order. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | That "dog box", is the enclosure for the diesel generator, which is running in the first picture. See the exhaust pipe sticking up with the open rain cap!! I guess if you got an invitation to look inside, you could call ahead and have them set the temperature that you would like it to be.........When you came by for your visit. Wonder if the horse area is refridgerated.....$400,000 trailer should have an engine and steering wheel also! Someone will buy that to haul around some horses that they bought out of the killer pen at the sale....Some "wanna be" cowboy folks!! LOL! I believe I had rather have the money for some more land and keep hauling with what I got. Mine is paid for. |

Location: Midwest USA | It is real interesting to read all the negative and derogitory comments....I would say that 3/4 of you would own this piece "IF" you could afford it....The "jealousy" factor rages when another manufacture trumps everyone else on a new idea. Fact of the matter is ....Sundowner has been and still is the leader in innovation in this industy...They raise the bar every year and then everyone has to chase their tails to catch up...WELL..guess what----here we go again!!!! I can guarantee this...if you had the money to buy a million dollar bus, but you wanted to be able to still get around after you arrive at your show...then this trailer nails it..BECAUSE..if you buy this trailer then buy the truck to pull it, you would still be under a million dollars..way below a million......This trailer was not made for a guy who has a yearly income of $60,000........This beauty is for the "players" of the world...and let me say this...the interior of this piece is a palace...no corner cut...nothing left on the table...many industry first's...NEWS AT 11....
SO....can Sundowner have some respect for being a leader in the industy ??
Can we get some feedback from people other than ones who have too much time on their hands and can't say anything nice anyway ???
Can we get some questions that are focused on pertinent items on the trailer ....NEGATIVE BREEDS NEGATIVE AND THERE IS TOO MUCH OF THAT IN THIS WORLD AS IT IS...
This is a great place to learn and ask questions...stick to that please....
Hope everyone has a great day !!!!!!!!...KEEP SMILIN!!!!

Location: Home of Wild Turkey Whiskey | You may say it is for the "players" of the world, I say it is for the "phoneys" of the world, the ones who show up Friday morning at the trainers barn to pick up their horse for that weekends show. Then drop said horse back off on Sunday afternoon. I say the post above are saying what needs to be said, Pretty trailer, but over the top. I seem to remember that Cimmarron did one a few years ago, Bloomer does a couple a year now, so maybe Sunupper is just trying to play catchup? They will never be in the same league with Bloomer/C&C/4 Star, I don't care how many stainless trailers they build. Or how many "phoney" people out there buy one of them. Or "phoney" salesmen in Starched Shirts and Wranglers that sell them, you all know the type walking around with a perfect hat, Starched Shirt/Wranglers and the boot flavor for the month. My hat has a sweat ring and arena dust, my boots have horse sh*t on the bottom of them. I broke my own horse, and we win enough for me, and I probley wouldn't change if I had enough money to buy the Da*n trailer, So there you big feeling Some Beach.

Location: BAD STREET USA, ATLANTA GA | YOU ALL SOUND LIKE A BUNCH OF OLE BIDDIES AT A BEAUTY PARLOR!!! Hey guys who is a member of the Bertha better than you pew today??? J - E - A - L - O - U - S!!! it does my heart good to know that everyone has been drinking their HATORADE and eating up the HATER-SALAD. Just remeber this my friends its awfully lonely at the top and it appears that's where Sundowner is. Now we all get to set back and watch everyone take their potshots and go waaa waaa waaa because somebody just built a better mousetrap and you cant afford it or even see it. I will let you in on a little secret, life is not fair, life is harsh, you have the "HAVES and HAVE NOTS" So what if this is built for the phony horsemen of the world. God bless them they are good for our industry i will take there money. ARE YOU TO GOOD TO TAKE THEIR $$$??? You know that we all cater to them because that is how we survive. That is what Sundowner is doing and the majority are mad or upset about it so you knock the trailer. Deal with your petty issues and insecurites the hate train is a coming so climb aboard. Man up and just admit the trailer is revolutionary and it is what IT IS!!! THE BEST THERE IS!!! Next month it will be something else for all of you to complain and whine about. Heck we probably will never get to see it. Big deal!!! Congrats to the new owner. Life is good my friends. Now go and spread the hate!!! |

Location: Home of Wild Turkey Whiskey | He sounds like 3yrs. little brother, I bet Sundowner really appreciates these two bit salesguys getting on the largest internet horse trailer site and starting sh*t with the folks. That probley is not in Sundowners business model. These guys wouldn't know anything about that they are to worried about the flavor of the month boot club, or getting dirty. I could pick this guy out in a crowd of 200, everybody knows what he looks like. |

Location: BAD STREET USA, ATLANTA GA | Retento, i like your style. The majority of us would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better off buying more land. This trailer was not built for the majority, the same way a Bently or Rolls Royce is not built for the everyone. Yes it has a/c in the rear. Yes i have scene. No i did not take pictures. AND NO i do not work for Sundowner. Here is another shocker... ...I dont even own a Sundowner. I just love all the salesmen for Sundowner and other manufacturers stirring up the hater - stew. Hey Darth, ya got some pictures of the inside? How about A/C in the horse area? Have you seen it in person? Tell us more about yourself. Sounds like you and Satan may have something in common. Getting used to your Duramax??? WOW you sound like a super bad diesel hatin' tuff guy. They are both great trucks. Hey O.G. hater i dont wear cowboy boots, I let my membership expire when i joined the Cowboy hat of the month club. i wear work boots but i dont think you know much about work you seem to type awfully fast and very pretty. You seem to have an eye for this 3yr hitch to bumper fellow. How well do you know this guy??? For all we know you two could be in on this together. NICE. Thanks for sharing the natural horsemanship. FYI i spend a lot of time in Louisville. DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM??? I never wear white. Hence the Darth Vader reference and i dont own a pear of wranglers. They are to tight a uncomfortable. By the way Barf, being on top doesn't always mean you don't have friends, it means you have to have friends to get on top. You and 3 yr. old could take a lesson from that. Now go waa waa and get this senseless thread zapped. You can sales pitch it however you want to, a pig is still a pig. |

Location: BAD STREET USA, ATLANTA GA | HWBar, quick question. Are you just angry and frustrated about the fact that the luxo - liner and the new Super Sooner blow away that atrocity your beloved 4 - Star chooses to call a premuim trailer??? Yes I have scene it. One word come to mind natural horsmanship hater, OVERRATED. The Super Sooner blows it away is way less. How do you explain that. Its the talk of Congress. 4 - Star missed the boat yet again!!! Is that a 4 - Star or a Jamco??? |

I had no idea he was ridden with vishes, you are soooo perfect I just found it hard to believe that you had an imperfect dog. I am rather curious HW and Tx if this Sundowner is so bad what do you folks pull that is so great. Please enlighten us all with you vast expertise and knowledge of all things in trailerdom??? |

Location: Never miss a good chance to shut up. | I'm surprised at the "regulars" on here that got their hair messed up over this one. Someone said it earlier. There's been an expensively equipped trailer that most of us couldn't afford posted on our board and we get to gawk and speculate about it. That was fun. But when you start making comments about the company and the purpose of the trailer and the post . . you get people defensive. Duh! (As my teenage daughter would say) Next time you type something . . . wait a minute . . . and re read it . . . and ask yourself . . . . "is this really important to say?" Thanks. This thread is frozen, but I would like to invite more pictures, post and comments about trailers on display. Have fun, but play like adults. |
