Location: White Mills, Ky. | We ordered one last year from BeverlyBay.com. It was around $200 and arrived within 5 days of making the order. We live on a windy little hill and the cover got one small tear last winter, so I will be sure to cushion the sharp corners this year. Other than that, we are very happy with it. RIDE ON! |

Location: East Tennessee, USA, Planet Earth | what a great question! i was looking at trailer covers online today. in the past...i have always had my rig inside a shed on a concrete floor. this winter i will need to find inside storage or leave it outside at the boarding barn.
this really concerns me...as i do not want my trailer to rust.
so...are trailer covers a good idea in the cold MN/WI winters? |

Location: Western WA | I bought one from Camping World last year designed for 5th wheels. It was too tall for a horse trailer. Within the first month we had a windy night (not extreme high winds but more windy than usual) and half the straps underneath ripped off and a corner caught on the back of the trailer and ripped. Warranty does not cover wind damage, and they specifically say if its more than 20 mph winds to take the cover off. I do not recommend those covers, was an expensive one month of use. I have heard good things about Beverly Bay but have never seen one. |

Location: White Mills, Ky. | I should add that we did run a rope around the whole trailer just above the running boards. This diminished the wind flapping quite a bit. As I said before, I live on a windy hill with no mature trees close enough to be of any help in breaking the wind. We ended the winter with one 4" x 4" "L" shaped tear at the front corner of the trailer. I will patch it with the universal fix-all (a.k.a. duct tape) and be sure to cushion the corners this winter. Our main concern is protecting the awning and AC unit, which this cover did quite well. RIDE ON! |
