Location: Northwest Ohio | Ok. I have no idea how to describe this, but I'll try my best. Ours has a white plastic piece that slides up and down on the metal things at the back of the frig. Not sure how it works, but our salesman told us that that slide is some type of adjustment. It sure doesn't look like an adjustment but that's what we were told.Yes, there are recalls on some of the Dometic refrigerators, but the recalls have something to do with the installation of a fire-resistant plate.

Location: Minnesota | The recall includes the cooling unit on some models. They are very difficult to deal with but they replaced my cooling unit as well as the gas problem. |

Location: Henderson, TN 38340 | If you have your model number, you can go to the dometic web site at the below address. Select your model and in the upper center / left is a PDF file on the owners manual that tell how to control the temp, if your has a controlable feature. http://www.dometic.com/templates/Product,424,1246.aspx Good Luck Turfa |
