Location: sc | oh for crying out loud, another intermediate trying to dazzle the novice with his slight grasp of numbers. who is this guy? maybe he should look into the gov regs pertaining to truck braking in xxx distance in reference to class 1-3 light duty truck gvwr (class 2 and 3 specifically)....then he might have a better idea of what is going on. i wont even address the fact the dually weighs ~2000# more than the 1/2 ton and that the 1/2 ton brakes are generally damn close in size, oh never mind. as to the purpose of this thread and checking your trailer, if my wife had not hit the manual button on the brake controller before she headed out, then got in a wreck........i would have chewed her ass off. |
