I will be at a show near Sacramento in the next couple of weeks, and have the opportunity to go visit a client in San Francisco while I am in the general area.  I will have my dually truck and would like to park at an outer-lying BART station (I'm thinking Pittsburg or El Cerrito) and take BART in, and not have to take my truck into the San Francisco Financial District.  Any suggestions or advice?

Take your truck to the Vallejo Public Parking (free parking) across from the Vallejo Ferry Terminal. Ride the Ferry boat into the S.F. Ferry Terminal and take a quick cab ride to the Financial District. Come back across on the Ferry. Way better than dealing with parking in S.F. and Vallejo Ferry Terminal is only about 1 hour drive from Sacramento. Round Trip on the Ferry is about $18 unless you are a senior citizen, then I think it is only $6. This is my preferred method of travel to S.F. from Sacramento. You might also check the BART schedules and see what looks feasible.
