Location: East Central Kansas | It's like comparing Cadillacs to Chevy's. You have one of the top of the line vs the middle of the road.

Location: East Central Kansas | 4 star is the caddy, and EBY is the chevy. One method I use to gauge a trailer is looking at the dropdowns, both head and butt. You can see how in from the 4 star drop downs are better quality than EBY's. Overall each individual in this forum has an opinion on thier favorite brand of trailer. Mine is 4 star. |

Location: Maryland | I was a a horse expo in January and compared the 4 star and Eby. Things that were standard on the 4 star were an add on for the Eby. I think the Eby is a well made trailer, but after looking at the both of them, I chose the 4 star and am very pleased with my decision. My 4 star is made so well. Good Luck in your choice |

Location: North Salem, IN | If you are comparing stock combo type trailers, you can't beat the Eby. Eby builds the full size semi trailer "bull rack". The same construction that goes into the semi trailers goes into the stock trailers as well. As far as full stock trailers, I see several on the highway every day, and 7 out of 10 are Eby stock trailers. That ought to tell you something right there. the guys that haul every day are using the Eby. I used to own an Eby stock combo, never had and issue with it. I did move up to a "horse" trailer, and would have an Eby in a second, but I couldn't afford one. They are pricey to say the least, but in my opinion, one of the best trailers on the market.

Location: IL. | we just picked up our new eby in march.it is #2 for us we needed more l/q ,go to a draft horse show and then to your local fair then take a drive down to your stock yard, you will see alot more eby's than anything else.4-star builds one heck of a trailer just remember you don't see any caddy work trucks. |
